We send the tool address when your licence starts. You send back your issuer, client ID, deployment ID and your LMS’s login, token and keyset URLs. Launches from any LMS not on our allow-list are refused.
Privacy
- Pseudonymous only: we use the opaque LTI user ID, course ID, link ID and role. Names and email addresses are not requested and are discarded if sent.
- Hosted in Sydney (AWS ap-southeast-2), with short log retention.
- Every launch is checked: signed token, issuer, audience, expiry, one-time nonce and your deployment ID.
- Scores (0 to 100) go back to your gradebook through the LTI Score service.
Step-by-step guides for each LMS are available to licensed institutions. LMS integration is available with an Organisation licence.
